Nanjing (Chinese: 南京) was a city in China and the capital of Jiangsu province along on the Yangtze River.

In the March issue of Future Weapons Today, there is an article featuring the Wattz 2000 laser rifle, used by a Marine sniper in Nanjing. Staff Sergeant R.B. Vickers served in the operations in Nanjing until September 2076, when he was relocated to the fighting in Shanghai.
