Hey der, I'm Flick. What the fuck do you want, huh?

Flick is the owner of a general store in the Den in 2241.


A shady character with an Italian accent, Flick fancies himself a philanthropist, helping the impoverished children of the Den by putting them to work as pickpocketers in return for some shelter and food. He is a rude and unpleasant person, though the amount of goods he amassed during his career as a caretaker make him a mandatory stop for anyone looking for new stuff to buy or just to take them back.

Other interactions

  • Flick makes the mistake of carrying stolen goods on himself. If a high powered slug happens to perforate his skull (several times preferably), the inhabitants of the Den will not retaliate against the assailant. Guess they got tired of the thieving children, too.
  • Items stolen from the player character's inventory by any of the pickpocket children around The Den have a high chance of showing up for sale in Flick's shop inventory, and can be repurchased for a price or reobtained for free (with a small Karma boost bonus, no less) by the aforementioned skull perforation. In earlier, unpatched versions of the game, these items would continue to be faithfully (if a bit morbidly) delivered to Flick's (and possibly Tubby's as well) corpse even after said perforation had occurred, up until the body disappeared over time. In this case, they could be easily retrieved repeatedly without cost.



  • Killing him raises your Karma by 5.
  • On his corpse are many useful things, like .44 magnum revolver.


Flick appears only in Fallout 2.
