核試驗場舊址為沙漠中的高輻射區，充滿食屍鬼。
在核試驗場的小黑屋裡，有一個叫Trash的女生在這裡安息，還有她的三篇絕筆日記，分別是Trash的死亡日記1,2,3.在日記中表達了她對於食屍鬼的羨慕，嫉妒，恨和企圖在此白日飛升的理由。
在那個俯瞰小黑屋的沙袋工事里，有5張椅子。附近有5副官方版墨鏡。在這個小觀察點下方，有一輛卡車，和5個食屍鬼。（這5個食屍鬼估計就是坐在椅子上看核試驗的倒霉蛋，因為椅子那裡沒留下骨頭或者骷髏。）

- 在任務「BOOTED」中被你解救的2個火藥幫小弟會跑到這裡來。他們倆會停在小黑屋的門口，這顯然難逃附近眾多高等食屍鬼的毒手。就算食屍鬼都掛了，這哥倆也會在這直到食屍鬼刷新。
- The center of radiation is not the crater, but is located closer to the shack, and tops to around 9 rads a second near the shack's door. The interior of the shack is also irradiated.
- Arcade's comments about the area claim that the test site was a nuclear waste dumping ground, which means that either Arcade's source of information was incorrect, or the test site was a dumping ground before nuclear bombs were tested here.[1]
