Adam Adamowicz was a concept artist at Bethesda Game Studios who worked on Fallout 3 and the concepts for the design of characters and weapons. Adam passed away from complications with lung cancer on February 9, 2012, at the age of 43.
In an interview with Istvan Pely by VG 24/7 in October 2015, he revealed Adam had also been working on concept art for Fallout 4.[1] His work appears in The Art of Fallout 4.
A tribute to Adamowicz is found in the Fallout 4 Creation Club content Capital Wasteland Mercenaries. In it, a room of the GNR building is decorated with various pieces of his Fallout 3 concept art.
