關於the Skyline Valley character,參見Hugo Stolz

Hugo is a deceased member of the Forged gang of raiders occupying Dunwich Borers in the Commonwealth in 2287, who separated and secluded himself in Hugo's Hole until his self-inflicted demise. His remains appear 在辐射4 .

Background[]

Around 2287, Hugo was a member of the detachment of Forged members sent by the gang's leader Slag, overseen by his lieutenant Bedlam, to occupy the quarry at Dunwich Borers and mine material to send back to Saugus Ironworks.[1] However, an unspecified encounter while excavating the subterranean mines resulted in Hugo becoming mortally terrified and abandoning the others, moving to a nearby stack of mined marble blocks that he made into a makeshift hovel.[2][Non-game 1]

According to an audio journal he made, Hugo believes he had come under the influence of a supernatural force dwelling in the mines, one that he only refers to as "it." In his madness, he longed to return to the quarry and meet the entity again, plotting to kill his former gangmates if they got in the way, but claims that "it" had kept him from doing so. The alleged influence of the entity had brought Hugo to the brink of complete insanity, and he ultimately believed "it" was compelling him to take his own life, which he ended up going through with around late October 2287.[3]

Between the thick cubes of marble on the northeast side of Dunwich Borers is the well-defended hidey-hole of Hugo, a local explorer. Listen to his Holotape for clues regarding the horrors at the adjacent quarry. Unlock his trunk (Expert) if you’re the pilfering sort. There’s a hazmat suit here, too, if you need to swim down an ancient irradiated well for some reason. Did you also check Hugo’s sleeping area for a metal shelf with a robot model kit on it? Have you found them all yet?"
