Taking this perk grants the ability to fast travel if and when the maximum Carry Weight is exceeded, and one becomes over-encumbered.
Notes[]
- The perk does not work well with the Strong Back, Burden to Bear, and Pack Rat perks, and/or the Hoarder trait since its effect requires being over-encumbered whereas those increase Carry Weight and make it more difficult to get past the maximum threshold.
- It does work well with Travel Light, which, contrary to its name, increases movement speed overall when wearing light armor, including when over-encumbered. Taking Atomic! and living with one or more levels of radiation sickness can further increase over-encumbered movement speed.
- Carrying over 10,000 pounds of equipment and items may cause severe lag when opening containers or searching corpses.
