The Beckley mine exhibit is a location in the town of Beckley in the Ash Heap region of Appalachia in 2102. It is a public workshop with claim and defend event quests.

Background[]

A model mine preserved at the edge of Beckley. Due to popularity, the miner statue is an exact replica of the one found at the miners monument. Preserved as a tourist attraction, it became quite attractive as a settlement in the wake of the nuclear war.

Layout[]

The Beckley mine exhibit is a raised park area surrounded by a chain-link fence. Three oil deposits can be found here along with a gold and a crystal deposit. There are multiple park pavilions at the location, and a small, wooden playground can be found to the northeast; a caps stash sits in the middle of it. At the center of the park is a large copper statue surrounded by benches. To the west is a blocked-off entrance to an abandoned mine. A large wooden structure is on the hill above the entrance, but cannot be climbed.

To the southeast is a small, gutted museum that serves as an informational center and gift shop for the exhibit, though only the first floor can be accessed. A locked safe (Picklock 2) is on the wall behind the counter in the building. There is a supply closet with a few junk items behind a locked wooden door (Picklock 0). Crystal and gold veins can be found in the area.

The workshop itself covers a roughly square area bordered by the road in the east and the edge of the mountain to the west. The available resources include 6 food, 8 water, 1 crystal and gold each, and 3 oil.

Notable loot[]
