Executive Order 99066 was a presidential order that allowed for the arbitrary imprisonment of Chinese and Chinese-American persons in concentration camps, as part of the Sino-American War. The military enforced the order both directly and through private military contractors.[1]

- Y. Guo, A. He, H. X. Ming, M. Pang, M. Pang Jr., R. Chong and H. K. Tsen, were arrested under the order and were to be transported to a War Relocation Authority site by USMC private contractors.
Behind the scenes[]
Executive Order 9066 was signed by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1942 and authorized the designation of certain areas in the United States as military zones during World War II, allowing for the exclusion of certain groups. Japanese and Japanese Americans targeted by the order in the western states were evicted and placed in concentration camps, as a "national security risk".
