This perk grants you a short period of time (approximately five seconds) before taking damage inside a concentrated toxic Cloud, as well as reducing the amount of damage you take inside the toxic cloud by 25%.
This perk does not reduce the continuous drain of 9 hit points per minute applied to players in Hardcore mode.
