The fragmentation mine is a placed explosive in Fallout 4.

Characteristics[]

Fragmentation mines are not as powerful as most explosives, but they are often found scattered around enemy outposts. Their ability to be planted on the ground makes them a useful tool for ambushes.

  • Two near the Fort Hagen filling station, next to a dead Minuteman.
  • Three inside Greenetech Genetics, on a cabinet in a research room in the east.
  • Three outside the Gwinnett Restaurant, two towards a house to the west, near a step up/broken fence. Third one a little more north, next to stairs to the restaurant.
  • Three in Kendall Parking, on a flat door near a cage and rigged mole rats in the north.
  • Two in a lounge area on the roof of Mass Bay Medical Center.
  • Milton parking garage, on a metal shelf, in the bedroom with the weapons workbench on the fourth floor.
  • Three mines north of Relay tower 0BB-915, in an open APC.
  • Three at Sullivan's diner.
  • One in a red semi-truck at West Everett Estates.
  • Yangtze, two in the armory at the lower level.
  • Far Harbor (add-on) Six under a counter in a shack to the northwest of the MS Azalea.

  • One outside ArcJet Systems, to the right of the entrance, near two stacked cars.
  • One north of ArcJet Systems, in a old power station with a fusion core.
  • Beantown Brewery, on the other side of the east bridge, on the road.
  • Four at Big John's Salvage, in front of the Hardware store. Two more at the east side, near a boarded up shop/telephone pole.
  • 19 around Boston Airport, all scattered around the airfield's airplane junkyard. Only appear after ?.
  • Three at Breakheart Banks:
    • One to the south, on the road.
    • One a little more south, near a wrecked Corvega Atomic V-8.
