Mother Maya was born in 2236 and is Confessor Cromwell's wife, but they do not go out of their way to advertise the fact, as they are both so busy promoting the ideals of church.[1] Mother Maya is kind, and treats ghouls like Gob with respect and an air of reverence because of their spiritual beliefs.[1]
