A common plant in the Commonwealth, corn can be planted in settlements, the produce of which can be harvested for food or as a component for Vim or vegetable starch. Similar to all crops except mutfruit, it provides 0.5 food per plant when assigned to a settler.

Corn is a component of vegetable starch, which can be broken down into adhesive, a valuable component for crafting. This makes corn one of the most valuable crops to plant, along with mutfruit and tatos.
