Abandoned mine shaft 4 is a location in the Ash Heap region of Appalachia in 2102. It is located near the town of Beckley.
Layout[]
The location consists of two buildings and a refinery laid out north to south. The easternmost building has a cooking station up at its north end, and two dumpsters are along the eastern wall. The western wall has lockers with a potential armor mod inside and a weapons workbench. Inside the building is a mattress. To the west is a refinery.
In the southwest corner is a larger two story building. Proceeding through the eastern barn door, straight forward is staircase, to the left is a power armor station. Further in and on the northern most wall is a tinker's workbench. At the top of the stairs there is a level 3 safe on the right and an armor workbench to the left. Turn around, there is a bed across a walkway. From there, a northern door opens to the top of the refinery.
