Wasteland Workshop is the second add-on for Fallout 4, and focuses on the workshop feature. It adds a number of new world objects, and the ability to build arenas to stage fights for captured humans and creatures.

Release and availability

Wasteland Workshop was released at a price of $4.99 worldwide on April 12, 2016, with the exception of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 releases for Asia which were released on April 19, 2016.[1]


The add-on includes two new concrete shipments, which at the equivalent of one cap per unit, are significantly cheaper than the shipment of 50 units in the base game, at three caps per unit.

  • To be able to construct all the new items, the player character will need one point in the Animal Friend and Wasteland Whisperer perks, and four points in the Science! perk.
  • When trapping and releasing animals it is best to remember that even with the Beta Wave Emitter they will be hostile to each other if they're not in the same species.
