Badger is one of the tanker vagrants on the PMV Valdez in San Francisco in 2241.
Background[]
Well liked by fellow crew members, Badger is described as punk with a half smile, referring to himself as an "information retrieval specialist."[1][2] In conversation, he may bring up his former band and bandmates from the musical group There We Smolder.[3] He states that the band was good, despite the singer being a ponce, Aaron's constant sweating, and everything else being Todd's fault.[3]
His girlfriend's name is Suze, who is trapped below decks, requiring the Chosen One to rescue her in exchange for Badger's help with acquiring tanker fuel.[4] The other tanker vagrants will comment on the rescue, mentioning that maybe Badger will sleep with them as a thanks for saving her.[5] If Badger dies, the vagrants will express their remorse and Suze will be more distraught, sharing that Badger was all she had in terms of friends or family.[6][7]

- Find Badger's girlfriend in the hold below the ship, The tanker needs fuel: If one wants Badger to refuel the ship, they will need to help his girlfriend get to safety.
- Kill Badger so the tanker vagrants will embrace the Hub: The Hubologists ask the Chosen One to kill Badger so that the other vagrants will follow the Hub.
- The tanker needs fuel - After one has found Badger's girlfriend, they can ask him to hack into the Shi Emperor in order to direct fuel to the ship. This will result in his death at the hands of Shi enforcers after some time has passed.
