Background[]
Vegeir is a tall, stately man. His movements are cat-like. Vegeir leads the Slags,[1] descendants of a survivalist militia that retreated beneath the ground in the wake of the Great War. He knows that the time for hiding is long past and is looking for ways to contact the people of Modoc to establish trade relations between them and his fellow Slags.

- Deliver Slag message to Jo in Modoc: He dwells beneath the Ghost Farm and will ask the Chosen One for assistance in establishing trade relations with the town of Modoc.
- Jonny's in the Slag caves. Find a way to get Jonny back home to Balthas: He acts as a sort of guardian of Jonny and will give the Chosen One permission to escort Jonny back to Modoc if his trust has been earned.
