Captain Gilles is an NCR captain located in the Bitter Springs refugee camp in 2281.
Background[]
Gilles is the commanding officer of the refugee camp at Bitter Springs. It is not known if she was present for the Bitter Springs Massacre, but she is very defensive regarding it, referring to it only as "the incident." The camp she runs is undermanned, undersupplied, and being attacked by a sniper who is killing soldiers and refugees alike at night. She has hung the NCR flag at the camp upside down as a distress signal.

No, Not Much, Climb Ev'ry Mountain: After hearing from Captain Gilles that things are not going well at the camp, she can give one these quests. After that they will be able to receive the quest Bitter Springs Infirmary Blues from Lt. Markland.

- Gilles will have different greetings with the Courier depending on their NCR reputation. She will also have different reactions to the fate of President Kimball after the completion of You'll Know It When It Happens.
