The weapon has a unique design with the hammerhead comprised of four damaged fusion cores instead of the regular plain steel block, giving it a bulkier overall look. Said cores appear to have been deliberately damaged in order to leak glowing green radioactive material from the contact area, which is the source of the immense amount of radiation damage the hammer can inflict. When swung or simply held in hands, Atom's Judgement emits a sickly green vapor from its head that leaves a smoke trail whenever the weapon is moved in any way.
Though similar to the machete Kremvh's Tooth in being a legendary melee weapon with a completely unique appearance, unlike Kremvh's Tooth, its appearance and legendary effect are unique to the weapon itself, not a legendary appearance mod for that weapon type. It uses the same mods as any other super sledge, and retains both its appearance and legendary effect after modding.
Atom's Judgement is capable of dealing huge amounts of physical and radiation damage, making it excellent for human opponents. While the super sledge deals a large amount of base melee damage, the weapon's primary damage output comes from the radiation component, making it less effective against non-human enemies.
