Berkeley Springs station is a location in the town of Berkeley Springs in the Mire region of Appalachia in 2102.
Background[]
A damaged building part of the long-defunct network of train stations across Appalachia. Once collapsed and boarded up, the station was reoccupied in 2102 by Purveyor Murmrgh, a non-hostile mole miner, to sell her legendary wares. In 2103, the station was once again abandoned after the Purveyor relocated her trading post to the Rusty Pick.
Layout[]
The station is similar to other train stations in Appalachia but is laid out a bit differently. There is a small bathroom, some ticketing terminals, a stash box, and the vendor area, which is where Purveyor Murmrgh once resided, near several shelves in the back. Underneath the floor is a tunnel. The station is also in poorer condition than most, without any lighting and a more decayed ceiling. There is also a tinker's workbench along the cracked walls.
