亚历克斯在鉚釘城长大，一直对科学家们在那里所做的事情感兴趣。麦迪逊·黎博士收养了他，将她所知道的一切都教给了他。[1]亚历克斯是团队的植物学家，他的专长是种植自然产生的食物材料。友善且受人喜爱，如果过于热心，他被委托监督净水计划的元素，并且对他的导师黎博士感到敬畏。[2]
