This car seems to have been a somewhat uncommon car in the Fallout universe, as only a few of these tiny cars can be seen in the game before the Great War of 2077, unlike the second microcar in the game, the Fusion Flea Supreme. It's not known which company was responsible for production of these cars.
The Zip was a small, single-seated vehicle with two large glass doors on each side for easy access. The steering wheel, left and right shift sticks were removable to allow the driver more room when stepping into the small car. It had a large windshield and no real back window or side mirrors. There are two large headlights along with a small one on top of the car and two running lights on the lower sides, with no visible brake lights.
- One pre-War vehicle can be seen in the quest War Never Changes in Sanctuary Hills. It can be found in post-War condition after emerging from the vault in the quest Out of Time.
- One can be found in Jamaica Plain.
- One can be found in the town of Far Harbor.
Behind the scenesEdit
- The Zip's bubble design seems to be inspired by the Heinkel Kabine microcar.
