The XL70E3 is a small gun in Fallout Tactics.
Characteristics
This weapon is superior to both the AK47 and the M16A1, but the magazine is inferior to both rifles. The Enfield does much more damage than the M16A1, but the M16 has a much farther range, enough so that you can burst fire in the M16A1 farther than one can shoot single rounds in the Enfield.
Location
- St. Louis, southwest corner of the mutant base in a crate (near the toxic moat).
Behind the scenes
The XL70E3 is based on the RSAF Enfield XL70E3, a prototype version of the SA80 family of firearms adopted by the British Armed Forces in 1987. Contrary to the description, pre-2000 models gained a notorious reputation for being fragile and unreliable.
