The World of Refreshment is a location in Nuka-World in 2287.
Background[]
This Nuka-Cola manufacturing plant was converted by the Nuka-Cola Corporation to serve as a park attraction in addition to its normal duties. The standard bottling facilities were augmented with a guided river tour, featured in park advertisements.[1][2] Before Nuka-Cola Quantum was released, the water was tinted a blue color to simulate the look of the beverage, but now contains the drink itself.[3][4]
As of 2287, the river is infested with Nukalurks, which killed Sergeant Lanier's entire Gunners recon team. The creatures knew to use their natural defenses to their advantage, and gradually wore down the mercenaries through attrition. Lanier's team made a last stand by the Quantum bottler inside the facility, but were wiped out by the Nukalurks. Even their support, pre-War RobCo Assaultrons, could not save them.
Layout[]
Accessible through the main entrance in the southern section of the exterior Nuka-Cola bottling plant area near the Quantum river and visitor queue, the World of Refreshment Tour highlights the history of the Nuka-Cola Corporation while visitors are following the river. Most of the interior is in ruins, with the tour line destroyed and tour boats off their tracks. The factory has its own robotic security, consisting of Assaultrons and turrets.
