Whiskey is an alcoholic beverage in Fallout 4.
Characteristics
It is used in crafting Dirty Wastelander and Grape Mentats, the latter of which lowers buying prices and raises selling prices as well as raising Charisma. Drinking whiskey increases the user's Strength stat by 2, but inhibits their intellectual capabilities.
Locations
- The shack southwest of Abernathy farm.
- Various bottles of liquor, including whiskey, can be looted from Cabot House. They will not be marked as stolen after completing The Secret of Cabot House.
- 6 can be found throughout Libertalia.
- Initially, at least 5 can be found in Vault 114; 3 in the cafeteria, 1 in the nursery and 1 in the residential area.
- 2 can be found inside the general's quarters of The Castle. Both are found inside a cabinet.
- Can be purchased from vendors such as Whitechapel Charlie in Goodneighbor and Wellingham in Diamond City.
Notes
The label on the bottle reads "UISCE BEATHA Irish Whiskey." Uisce beatha is the name for whiskey in Irish Gaelic.
