For the whiskey that appears in the Fallout series, see Whiskey. |
Whiskey is a food item found in Fallout 3.
Characteristics
Drinking it increases Strength and Charisma by one point while lowering your Intelligence by 1 point. By drinking this you run the risk of addiction, curable by doctors for a fee.
Whiskey has all the same effects as vodka and beer. It is cheaper than vodka and found more often around the Capital Wasteland.
Notes
- The whiskey is labeled "Olde Royale Premium Whiskey".
- Whiskey can be found in bottles in Fallout 3.
- If you look closely at the label on the bottle, you can see a picture of Galileo Galilei in the lower right hand corner.
- Whiskey is easy to spot. It has a slight orange glow to it, although not nearly as bright as Nuka-Cola Quantum.
- SatCom Array NN-03d has miniature versions of full and empty whiskey bottles being used as chess pieces in an upstairs room. This is a possible reference to the movie (and novel) Our Man In Havana, in which a game of chess is played with miniature bottles of whiskey instead of regular chess pieces.
- The empty whisky bottle is spelled without the 'e' in 'whiskey'.
