The whet stone is a miscellaneous item in Fallout: New Vegas.
Characteristics[]
The whet stone is a smooth stone used to sharpen steel tools and implements by grinding and honing their edges. It is identical in appearance to the paperweight.
Locations[]
- There is a whet stone located in one of the dumpsters near Freeside's north gate.
- Located in the Goodsprings General Store.
- Found in the Camp Forlorn Hope command center.
- In Raul's shack, on the shelf to the left of the entrance.
- In the Westside Co-op.
- One in Michael Angelo's workshop.
- Small chance to be carried by Powder Gangers, Jackal gang members, escaped convicts, Westside residents, New Vegas citizens, North Vegas residents, Viper gunslingers, Outer Vegas defenders and NCR engineers, including Allison Valentine.
- Sold by numerous vendors:
- High chance of being sold by Ralph.
- Slightly lower chance to be sold by Michelle Kerr and Samuel Kerr at the 188 Trading Post.
- May be sold by Blake, Carter and Old Lady Gibson.
