During Picking Your Brains and talking to Dr. 0, the topic about his name becomes available and requires passing a 65 Speech check to trigger this quest. A subsequent 7 Intelligence check clarifies that Doctor 0 would prefer to be called "Zero", but due to the visual similarities between the number 0 and the letter O, the latter has taken over and he's grown tired of correcting everybody over it. An Intelligence of 9 or having the Math Wrath perk grants the option to suggest adding a slash through the zero as a means to differentiate between the number and the letter. Dr. 0 will be pleased and thank the player character, and he will admit he never would have thought of this on his own. Alternatively, one can persuade him to take pride in his name of "Oh", likening it to the euphoric feeling of a great discovery. Either choice completes the quest.
Once his name dilemma has been resolved, a new dialogue option will be available with 0, where he gifts pieces of scrap metal and scrap electronics.
