Wes Johnson (born 6 June 1961) is an actor and voice actor who voices, among others, Mister Burke, Uncle Leo and Fawkes in Fallout 3. He has appeared in such films as John Waters' A Dirty Shame, Head of State, and the Nicole Kidman thriller The Invasion. He also appeared in For Richer or Poorer, Hearts in Atlantis, and the indy short Ted's 12.
Wes was the comedy co-host to the late Wolfman Jack on his last nationally syndicated radio program has spent many years in comedy troupes such as Fresh Victims, Gross National Product and The Loyal Opposition. His comic strip Martini 'N Clyde was a daily feature in The Washington Times, and his "Joe Fan" strip appears in Sports Fan Magazine. His television appearances include HBO's The Wire, Homicide: Life on the Street, and America's Most Wanted. He played himself in the Space Ghost Coast to Coast episode "Surprise."
Wes is married to his childhood sweetheart Kim Barrett Johnson. They have three sons.
Voice acting
Wes' voice has appeared in cartoons, commercials and video games, including the popular Elder Scrolls series of games, including Morrowind and Oblivion, where he played such characters as Lucien Lachance, the Gray Fox, the Arena Announcer, and Sheogorath (in the Shivering Isles expansion), as well as the "default" voice for all the Imperial males.
He also lent his voice to Star Trek: Legacy, which features the voices of all five original TV Captains, and the video game Star Trek: Conquest.
Wes is also the P.A. Announcer for the National Hockey League's Washington Capitals.
Wes makes regular appearances on "Broadminded" on XM 155, and reviews movies weekly for "The Chip Franklin Show" on KOGO in San Diego, CA, and The Shari Elliker Show on WBAL in Baltimore, MD.
Fallout 3
In Fallout 3, Johnson voices Mister Burke, all Super Mutants (including Fawkes and Uncle Leo), the Sentry Bots, the Protectrons, and Scribe Bigsley in Broken Steel.
