Wasteland Whisperer is a perk in Fallout 76.

Increasing chance per rank to pacify creatures.

The perk works similarly to its appearance in Fallout 4; aim a ranged weapon at a wasteland creature and press the interact button to have a chance to pacify the creature. Each level of the perk increases the chance to pacify and the pacification effect lasts for 60 seconds. Once an attempt to pacify is made, another is possible after waiting 60 seconds. Pacified creatures cannot be given orders, instead performing their normal idle actions.

Exceptions[]
The following variants or related creatures cannot be pacified.
- Any animal that is able to be pacified with the Animal Friend perk
- Mirelurk king
- Mirelurk queen
- Mole miner treasure hunters
- Daily Ops variants of all creatures
- Named or otherwise special variants such as Gail, Grahm, or the injured super mutant
- Variants found in Vault 94 during vault raids
