Walton Goggins is an actor who plays Cooper "The Ghoul" Howard, one of the main characters in the Fallout TV series.[1] He also reprised the role for the Ghoul's appearance in Fallout 76, introduced in the Burning Springs update.
Work on the Fallout series[]
In July 2022, Goggins first confirmed the filming of the Fallout TV series on his Instagram with a behind the scenes photo of himself at a makeup trailer for his ghoul character.[2] Goggins said in December 2023 that he did not want to be influenced by the Fallout games in his performance as the Ghoul. Instead, he drew from classic Westerns, such as the films of John Wayne and Clint Eastwood.[3]
