The fuzzy painting, a genuine Velvis,[Non-game 1] is a miscellaneous item in Fallout and Fallout 2.

Characteristics

The painting is a framed portrait of Elvis Presley[Non-game 2] on black velvet.[1]

  • The official Fallout 2 guide states that the image is on velvet fabric,[Non-game 1] but the in-game description states that the fabric is felt.[1]
  • In Fallout 76, Brother Scarberry mentions investigating a light which fell from the sky, and finding only a fuzzy painting of a man in a blue shirt.[2]

Behind the scenes

  • In the real world, Velvet Elvis paintings were a common 20th century kitsch novelty.
