The Vault theme is one of the possible themes for the player character's residence in Fallout 3.
Megaton house[]
The Vault theme features some metal benches, different lighting (blueish Vault lighting) some wall decorations (such as wall vents and what appears to be air conditioners, and a Vault-Tec banner), and big computers in the main room and the upstairs room with the door.

Notes[]
- If any items are stored in the locker and the theme is changed, all items inside the locker will be lost, since the locker is a part of the Vault theme.
- In the Megaton house, this theme can cause Wadsworth to be stuck upstairs, sometimes killing him. Reloading the auto-save fixes the problem.
- Moira Brown or Lydia Montenegro will respond to the selection of the Vault theme by asking if the Lone Wanderer is "homesick".
- In the Pip-Boy's Items' Misc section, the theme is seen as an unremovable item. On the PC, it can be removed by typing player.removeitem 7c122 1 in the console.
