“To the Stranger and Vault 13: What doesn't exist, we must sometimes dream and let our dreams inspier us to greater heights. So it was with the Stranger and his belief in the legend of Vault 13.”— Plaque
The Vault Dweller statue is found in the center of a garden between the Hall of Congress and the large manor opposite. Created by president Tandi, it memorializes the many accomplishments of the Vault Dweller in the service of what was then Shady Sands.
The statue features a vault dweller heroically marching toward the future, serving as a symbol of progress for the people of the New California Republic. A plaque commemorating the Vault Dweller may be found on the east-facing side of the pedestal.
Notes[]
The final line of the plaque implies that the story of the Vault Dweller, and the existence of Vault 13, is thought to be a myth by NCR citizens.
Appearances[]
The Vault Dweller statue appears only in Fallout 2.
