The Vault City courtyard is a district of Vault City in Fallout 2. Being the first sight of the city for an outsider, it hardly serves as an indicator of the splendor inherent to the other districts.
Background[]
By 2241, the Vault City council decided that outsiders (non-Vault citizens that still passed the strict entry test) would be placed here. Beside the houses and the prison, the courtyard also hosts Happy Harry's store, the Spittoon bar owned by John Cassidy (a possible companion), and the "hospital" run by Andrew.
