Icon cut contentThe following is based on Fallout 4 cut content and has not been confirmed by canon sources.

Vault 120 is a Vault-Tec vault located underwater in the Commonwealth. It would have been involved in the cut quest 20 Leagues Under the Sea.

BackgroundEdit

The vault was placed underwater, based on untextured assets that can be found in the Creation Kit of both an underwater vault window (VltSquidWindow01) and an underwater vault door (VltLGDoorMarine01). Multiple unused scripts for Fallout 4 reference Vault 120. In Fallout 76, there are several unused cells for Vault 120 that cannot be found in Fallout 4's game files, while the underwater assets can be found as legacy content. The vault, based on these unused cells, would have included an airlock, a research station and "Stellwagen Gorge."

NotesEdit

  • Vault 120 is also the name of a vault and quest location in Fallout Shelter, though it has no relation to the vault that was cut from Fallout 4 and Fallout 76.
  • The cells related to Vault 120 only exist in the game files of Fallout 76.

AppearancesEdit

Vault 120 appears in cut content for Fallout 4 and Fallout 76.

Behind the scenesEdit

Stellwagen Gorge is a reference to Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary, a marine protected area in Massachusetts Bay.
