Vault 101's second overseer was the successor of Vault 101's first overseer, ascending to the post in 2127, upon the death of his superior. He was drilled in the principles of isolationism, and continued the policy of keeping the Vault sealed while lying to the rest of the population that the outside world was unlivable. However, he also recruited senior dwellers to maintain the ruse, and those from among his inner circle were given the opportunity to visit the outside world with him to gather periodic updates on the status of the outside world.[Non-game 1]
