| For an overview of all bobbleheads, see Vault-Tec bobblehead. |
Vault-Tec bobblehead figures are promotional Vault-Tec items in Fallout 4.
Background[]
Vault-Tec bobbleheads are found on the eastern side of the former United States, throughout the Commonwealth. Bobbleheads were exclusive Vault-Tec merchandise available to executive-level employees of the Vault-Tec Corporation.[1] They were also offered as a gift to individuals who had been accepted into Vaults.[2]
Characteristics[]
Each bobblehead increases a corresponding S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stat permanently by one, or grants a permanent perk. They can be stored on a bobblehead stand which can be crafted at any settlement. A stand is also present in the room in Vault 81 upon being granted to the player character.
Taking a S.P.E.C.I.A.L. bobblehead while the player character's stat is at 10 allows that stat to increase to 11. As the bobblehead counts as a stat gain, if one was below 10 before picking it up, they cannot level that stat above ten.

Notes[]
- The bobbleheads wear Vault 111 jumpsuits.
- Despite being created before the war, the Barter bobblehead holds a bottle cap aloft.
Behind the scenes[]
- Bobbleheads were used as a promotional item for pre-orders of Fallout 4, with different poses. Only one at random was issued per pre-order.
- An exclusive bobblehead was released in Loot Crate's November 2015 box, posed with his hands on his hips and his shoulders back.
- The Charisma bobblehead is seen in a workshop in the Fallout 4 first trailer.
Bugs[]
A common bug in the mission Emogene Takes a Lover - Emogene vanishes before she can be spoken to - prevents that mission completing and The Secret of Cabot House starting, thereby preventing access to the Charisma bobblehead. While PC players have access to console commands as a workaround (see "Bugs" in the applicable quest article for instructions), no workaround is known to exist for console players who encounter the bug and wish to get this bobblehead (and a complete collection) other than restarting the game from scratch with a fresh save file.
