Fallout Bible Edit

The Fallout Bible is considered canon here as long as it doesn't contradict in-game sources. As for this line, I don't see a contradiction there. Various members of the pre-War conspiracy known as the Enclave retreated to various sites around the world, but it doesn't mean they were in any actual contact with the post-war organization of that name that was descended from said conspiracy. In-game evidence suggests they weren't, but it doesn't make the pre-war line false. Ausir(talk) 19:18, March 27, 2011 (UTC)

Alright, I changed the article to say "Come 2077, with total nuclear war rapidly arriving at America's doorstep, the President of the United States and a number of other members of the conspiracy left their posts to take refuge on the Poseidon oil rig." and "Some members of the Enclave retreated to remote locations in other parts of the world, but when the bombs hit, they lost contact with the main group." Ausir(talk) 19:32, March 27, 2011 (UTC)

Fallout Tactics Edit

Sorry for not getting back to you on this earlier. Yeah, some of the inconsistencies are too speculative and should probably be removed. Ausir(talk) @fandom 02:22, July 12, 2011 (UTC)

Hello my friend ;)
I saw your conversation with Ausir and since I'm played all Fallout games (even FOBOS) and I'm a great fan of Fallout, I always try to find a good explanation for inconsistencies (it's sad but Fallout Tactics is the Fallout game with the most inconsistencies in all Fallout, more than FOBOS).
Thanks to have remove some well, bad, speculative inconsistencies of the Fallout Tactics page. Also, I have a good explanation for Vault 0 I try to find myself (sorry if it's not well writted, I'm French and not a specialist of English grammar) based on my knowledge of the Fallout universe and my proper reflection:
  • Vault 0 was a part of the Vault experiment. In fact, its real purpose was not to monitors other vaults (just a secondary function), but for create a civilization that the Enclave can control it easily later. What it's the goal of the Enclave? The goal of the Enclave is to eradicate all inhabitants of the post-War USA, all mutants as they call them, for re-built america only with Enclave member, "pure-human" as they said.
  • So Vault 0 was equipped with the Calculator, which was supposed to function in collaboration with some brains of Vault 0 dwellers, pre-War geniuses to design and nurture an ideal human society in a post-War U.S. by educating the survivors and residents, and a powerful army of robot, almost insensible to normal attack. But it is a hidden face, trying to create an unique society without raiders, factions etc. where everyone would be united and obey the calculator, the Enclave could more easily put its plan (FEV Curling-13) into execution without the people be aware, protected in their "false" cocoons. The Enclave so could easily kill everyone without anyone knowing, unleash the FEV on USA and using the robot army at the same moment (changing them completely, being no more passive and guardian of the new false civilization but now a slayer army) to kill everyone.
  • All that was perfect, sometime before 2241 was perfect for this project. But one problem completely destroyed their hope, the Calculator became corrupted and instead of releasing the robots to make the Wasteland safe for humanity, the Vault 0 robots began to exterminate all life, completing the so called "pacification protocol". As for the unfortunate geniuses plugged in, most of them suffered severe brain damage, dementia, and mental retardation from a combination of age and prolonged radiation exposure (not mutation).
  • Also, a probable proof that the Enclave was interested in Vault 0 it's that they have a hidden outpost in Chicago (said in FNV), may be for controlled Vault 0 at distance and having a close area to saw and execute their plan, and for act quickly after the death of almost all USA post-War inhabitants.
Tell me what you think =) (and sorry for broken English). Itachou [~talk~] 22:27, August 13, 2011 (UTC)

Well, for me the Fallout canon is to be taken lightly, there is a period where a game was canon and the other not (Fallout Tactics and Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel are good exemples).

Fallout canon for me includes only the released video games and the Fallout publications ("Fallout Bible", all "Official game guide", "All roads" and "One Man, and a Crate of Puppets"), and some information of factions and places of Van Buren which doesn't contradict the elements already in place, that's all, the rest don't really exist in the Fallout universe. So don't take too much account of what people say about it.

No in fact Capital Wasteland BOS have old pre-War T-45d power armors, not a new post-War power armor like Midwestern BOS. FOBOS have experimental deathclaws so yes, hairy deathclaws could be another pre-War experiments.

For the FOT Fuel, the Master in Fallout have steam-powered trucks (not seen in-game by said) so another similar fuel can be possible.

It's impossible. Vault experiments is a part of the Enclave, and if the Enclave have no interest of Vault 0, Vault 0 is not part of the vault experiments and so the inconsistency is more bigger. No I don't talk about Vault 0 dwellers but about the goal of Vault 0, to create a false civilization (the primary goal of Vault 0 before the Calculator became corrupted) that after the Enclave could more easily put its plan (FEV Curling-13) into execution without the people be aware. You don't have read me I think ;).

Also, Chicago is not far away of Vault 0, even with no vertibirds. Itachou [~talk~] 23:00, August 13, 2011 (UTC)

All vaults was controlled by the Enclave since it's the Enclave that send the signal for open control vaults. Vault-Tec have created their unique Secret Vault for them, so I think the Enclave took control of all vaults after the Great War.
Since it's the only power armor that never appeared in any Fallout pre-War adds, it can't be a pre-War model. Its design also more look like a post-War power armor like those of the Enclave (APA, APA MkII, Hellfire). Itachou [~talk~] 23:30, August 13, 2011 (UTC)

Yes =). In fact it's like a thorn in the foot. Also, Fallout Tactics was during 2197 and the Enclave and Navarro was destroyed in 2242, so it's impossible since in 2197 they have already their unique power armor.

The best explanation that they find the Chicago Enclave Outpost (deserted for some reasons) with some schema of prototype of Enclave power armor (their airship crashed around Chicago) that after created them.

Haha anyway we are never sure without a dev. I go sleep, good nights my friend and see you around ;)! Itachou [~talk~] 23:44, August 13, 2011 (UTC)

Might seem like its just me but primetime for the wiki is in a few hours when kids in the states get home... Suprised anyone considers them canon (as much as I like the idea of the Fallout universe only existing because of a temporal paradox...) Agent c (talk) 19:19, November 6, 2012 (UTC)
My thoughts are shouldnt be considered canon is right, but I'll run it by another admin when one comes on. Agent c (talk) 19:35, November 6, 2012 (UTC)
I had Gunny take a look, and his thoughts in this more or less mirror mine... The full message is on my talk page, but in short we feel more comfortable using soft things like shouldn't be, rather than hard unless theres a quotable dev saying to ignore it. Yes, I know exactly how this sounds, and I agree it might sound silly, but ultimately we have to keep the same standard wikiwide... If its citable and confirmable we can say not canon, if its not, we have to use a bit of weasel language. Agent c (talk) 21:45, November 6, 2012 (UTC)

Brotherhood differences Edit

Hey there. I'm not sure if that page you made was a mistake, but it would belong on your blogspace not the mainspace. You made it as an encyclopedic article. So copy to your blog or sandbox and you're good to go:)--TwoBearsHigh-Fiving Intercom01 03:04, December 1, 2012 (UTC)

When leaving a message on another user's talk page, be sure to start a new subject and sign your name with four tildes (~), or by using the signature button above. To make a sandbox is easy, all you do is go to your userpage, and type a sandbox extension in the URL. Your's would be here. http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/User:StylesV13/Sandbox
You can add all of that there. Hope it helps!--TwoBearsHigh-Fiving Intercom01 03:26, December 1, 2012 (UTC)

Elliot Edit

First off, when I need to do big page revisions, I do them in one of my sandboxes (yes, you're allowed more than 1). That way you can check for mistakes easier than user a word processor. Just copy the whole page over to a sandbox, edit it until you get it right and then copy the whole thing back.

Secondly, I know absolutely nothing about FOT. Frankly, if I had a question about Tactics, I'd probably ask you. I'll try to did around and see if I can find out where the last name came about. The Gunny  380px-USMC-E7 svg 05:24, December 2, 2012 (UTC)

Don't worry about the edits. You're still getting used to it. And since I've known you for years now, I don't have any concerns about you "messing the place up" :P If you feel you could use a little help, you could always ask for a mentor to be paired with in the Fallout Wiki:New User Network. There's some things they could show you, like how to make that quote at the page top using the {{Quotation}} template.
I checked the page history, and the article talk page (there is none) and as far as I can tell, the original editor made the page with that title (back in 2009). There may be a few other folks here who've played Tactics, you might want to pop into chat and see if there's anyone on who has. The Gunny  380px-USMC-E7 svg 05:38, December 2, 2012 (UTC)

User conduct guideline. Edit

Hi! As per User conduct guideline users are not allowed to remove comments from a talk page. --Theodorico (talk) 09:38, December 2, 2012 (UTC)

Hey, it's just cos this is where we keep the formal stuff too - warnings, bans etc. we're looking at a system to replace that. Meantime when it does get huge (50 messages) it can be archived. Agent c (talk) 12:43, December 2, 2012 (UTC)

Ok, so thats's where he got the name from. As for the talk page thing, it's a contentious rule, but it is a rule. We're looking at a system to replace that rule, but it's kinda stalled since I need some javascripting done to make it work and our java guy has gone awol. Like Chad said, you can archive after a certain page size and don't forget you can use the page table of contents to quickly navigate down to the bottom of the page (which I often forget to do too. Lol). If you know anyone who's good at javascript, let me know. The Gunny  380px-USMC-E7 svg 15:50, December 2, 2012 (UTC)

MWBOSEdit

Ok, had a look through the sandbox looks good.

What I'd recommend with that is at the end of the Background section add a subheading (===Subheading Name===) with something appropriate (Differences from other Brotherhood chapters, or something similar), and then just copy it over. Agent c (talk) 12:58, December 2, 2012 (UTC)

Would also love your thoughts on This forum thread. I know canon issues are of interest to you, and I did include that email MCA sent you to help illustrate the Bible's non-canon status. Agent c (talk) 15:33, December 2, 2012 (UTC)

Sounds good. I'll clarify for game guides, but if you can drop a note on the forum that would be grand. Agent c (talk) 21:23, December 2, 2012 (UTC)

Nukapedia Edit

I had been following up on your discussions over at the Bethesda forums. I have to say that I am quite pleased to see someone so enthusiastic and knowledgeable over the Fallout universe becoming active here. So consider this my official welcoming of you into our community here at Nukapedia. :) I hope you enjoy your time here, and I will be looking forward to noting your progress. ForGaroux Some Assembly Required! 06:00, December 6, 2012 (UTC)

I'll check again, but I seem to re-call mentioning in my edit summary that I re-added the correct information as verified through Fallout 1 and 3, and then removed the Fallout Bible information within my next edit. ForGaroux Some Assembly Required! 06:02, December 6, 2012 (UTC)
Ah, I see what you are referring to now: with the keeping of that information within the same time-frame. The reason why I put that back into that year is because of confirmed information from the ZAX unit that shortly after the events we are currently discussing, the ZAX unit was created for research in which it was then liberated by the military for research into the New Plague. Let me know if I am incorrect in my assessment. ForGaroux Some Assembly Required! 06:07, December 6, 2012 (UTC)
That's a good point referring to the information found within the loading screens. I'll go ahead and move that information into its proper port. Thanks for clarifying the matter! ForGaroux Some Assembly Required! 06:08, December 6, 2012 (UTC)
Yep, edit summaries only go so far. I'm merely extra careful around subjects such as the timeline. ;) A lot of editors touch those pages without ever knowing what they're talking about. Sorry for the trouble. Happy editing! ForGaroux Some Assembly Required! 06:23, December 6, 2012 (UTC)
To be brutally honest, aside from the new blood, most of us are about the same as before when it comes to where our loyalties lie in the Fallout series. ;) These days we're just extra careful around editors so we can ensure a surviving community until the next title presents itself. But you certainly never have to worry about being censored here. If you have an issue with something and want to see change, we'll be more than happy to bring forth discussions to help come to some sort of consensus. ForGaroux Some Assembly Required! 06:34, December 6, 2012 (UTC)
Van Buren will always be dubious when considering its place on this wiki. As for the Fallout Bible, I wish we could still rely on it. But, unfortunately you are right, and we'll just have to wait until we can find a reliable source to base our lore upon. Now, onto the Enclave: Can you please provide me with a source towards your claim? I'm only asking because it has been shown that the BoS and the NCR have access to both fossil fuels and alternative fuels. So it seems to me that the Enclave aren't the only ones with access to fuel. ForGaroux Some Assembly Required! 07:00, December 6, 2012 (UTC)

Moved your pageEdit

I moved your Vietnam War page to your sandbox. Not sure it's worth a mainspace page, because it seems to have just a tiny mention in Tactics. But I did observe some nice vintage Tactics images from you in the past week which I've given a home. If you have more of these little gems, I'd be happy to see them uploaded. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 11:56, December 6, 2012 (UTC)

ProjectEdit

Hey Styles,

Was wondering if as a tactics fan you might be interested in clearing up an old project, the Tactics Character project. Compared to the other tactics project it looks a lot closer to being done. I can help with the wiki side of stuff, but as my copy of Tactics is in a box somewhere on the other side of the planet I wouldnt be able to do much in game content.

The project is basically going over the character articles, making sure all of the "manditory" sections are present, and if they're not putting them in.

Lemmie know if thats of interest to you. Agent c (talk) 15:11, December 6, 2012 (UTC)

Anna GuaranaEdit

I'm getting a bit nervous when I see character pages from old games being renamed. I reverted Anna of Junction City again to Anna Guarana. Master Mold, a former admin, created that page and I'm pretty he sure he was well informed. And even if it was to be renamed it would become Anna (Fallout Tactics). Anna of Junction City is not a proper name. Are you really sure that last name isn't good? He must have gotten that last name from somewhere if you ask me. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 23:50, December 6, 2012 (UTC)

40mm grenadeEdit

Linking the item to all other games only happens on overview pages, like in this case 40mm grenade. You can see it right there at the top. On the 40mm grenade (Fallout: New Vegas) page the For template is used to link to that overview page. I didn't add that one, it already existed. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 01:52, December 7, 2012 (UTC)

Fallout Tactics imagesEdit

Styles, these Tactics ending slide images are beautiful. Keep em coming I say! But when you upload them, can you give them a place on a page? Now I had to do that, added your last ones to Fallout Tactics endings (are there more?) and one to the Great Bend page. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 18:16, December 8, 2012 (UTC)

That's great! I'm a real fan of high quality image eye candy! In particular from the older games nowadays (newer games are pretty much covered I think). Jspoel Speech Jspoel 18:56, December 8, 2012 (UTC)

Achievement trackEdit

Styles, Agent c told me you are interested in a Fallout Tactics achievement track. If it will motivate you to do work on the Tactics pages, I'm ok with adding a track. Which category do you have in mind? Category:Fallout Tactics locations? Or Category:Fallout Tactics characters? I added the ending video for Tactics ending. What do you mean by the bunker ones? Can you upload an example? Our video policy is pretty strict, we don't want add too many videos. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 22:00, December 8, 2012 (UTC)

I added the characters track. It's the one with the most pages by far, so we will go with that one. And you can give it a try with the bunker pages. I'll take a look at it if it's an improvement and doesn't violate policies (too much). Jspoel Speech Jspoel 23:06, December 8, 2012 (UTC)

MentatsEdit

When you are giving that link to Fallout quests, please make sure it is [[Mentats (Fallout)|Mentats]], as it is more specific. And best to change the player to Vault Dweller. Energy X Signature0 22:25, December 8, 2012 (UTC)

Recent Edit regarding Vietnam Edit

You recently added a bit to the Divergence article about the Vietnam War, citing Fallout Tactics. Just curious, where is this mentioned in the game? --GaussRifle (talk) 02:07, December 9, 2012 (UTC)

Okay, I found your page and video. That's an interesting discovery, as several of those quotes are real ("But we don't plan to surrender, either..." is Lyndon Johnson and "...And would lead to World War III" is Richard Nixon) but I can't seem to find a real version of the "We have declared war on Vietnam" quote. You might be onto something here. --GaussRifle (talk) 02:19, December 9, 2012 (UTC)

Changed to the video you linked now with the ref tag. I hear it at about 15 seconds. Agent c (talk) 02:28, December 9, 2012 (UTC)

Graffiti Tables Edit

Tables are a headache at best. I've created a table for you, and left some comments you'll only see in the editor, hopefully that will explain it enough to get you started. Agent c (talk) 21:01, December 9, 2012 (UTC)

Looks like the Table end code |} fell off. You need to just double check that its at the bottom or it does silly things... Agent c (talk) 21:30, December 9, 2012 (UTC)

CaldrissEdit

Noticed your comment on the Caldriss page. Master Mold, a former admin (and Tactics connaisseur I believe) added that section. I tracked it down in the page its history. see here. You can try to get in contact with him on No Mutants Allowed, he may still be active there. Or try it on our wiki, but I haven't seen him in ages. The background can stay as it is, I believe he did his research. Although it would be nice to have a source reference. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 19:31, December 10, 2012 (UTC)

Yo, thanks for finding those graffiti images, you've been a real help. Can you do me a favour and add "|100x100px" after the file name when you post them in a table? This stops them from getting too big, for example;

I trust you, but the note itself does not have much notability. That is, it does not seem to be in the article as a note, perhaps a quote. Energy X Signature0 19:56, December 10, 2012 (UTC)

Special encounterEdit

You can add those special encounters. I wonder why after all this time we didn't have them yet. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 14:24, December 16, 2012 (UTC)

Tactics character imagesEdit

Great those Tactics character images, but can you cut them ratio 3 to 4 (width 3 and height 4)? That is also the ratio for all the portraits. It's for uniformity. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 00:34, December 19, 2012 (UTC)

Yes, it forces the image 75pixels in height, no matter how large it is. 75px (not xp) is fairly small as you can see. But it is needed, Tactics didn't have the fancy graphics we have now. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 00:44, December 19, 2012 (UTC)
Try downloading free image-program GIMP for a better image alteration. That program should be able to set a ratio. Otherwise take a Tactics portrait example and use that for comparison. And the images are a bit dark. Would be nice to have em a little lighter. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 00:54, December 19, 2012 (UTC)

( Styles, you and I are going to be friends! That last comment put a large smile on face. My kind of humor. But ok, I understand the problem with GIMP. It may be a bit complicated if you've never worked with it. Ok, stick to Paint, try to get the size about right and I may lighten the image a bit. And you should use px for image size, not xp. Two whole different things right? 4 to 3 I mean height versus weight ratio. For example 100 pixels in height then the width should be 75px. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 03:21, December 19, 2012 (UTC)

Tactics character pagesEdit

You removed a lot of project tags from Tactics. They're there for a reason, to get some work done on unfinished pages. And although some work has been done, not every article from Tactics is considered complete enough yet. Would have been better to have waited with it. But leave it as it is, I'm really not a fan of those tags, clutters the page. You and I will go through all these pages and then it will be complete enough. We should make some plan though. You upload character images and I'm about as far as you in the game and have the same images. We can split the missions. Do you have save games of the entire game? I don't, just finished Rock Falls. I suggest you start from the last mission working your way backwards and I start from Bunker Beta. Maybe you noticed I also uploaded quest images from the first three missions, perhaps you can do the same. And for characters, try to get them captured face 45% sideways (like recruits) or face front. And on No Mutants Allowed there is a high resolution screen patch. Do you use that? Works like a charm. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 15:32, December 27, 2012 (UTC)
Did you already download that screen res patch and can you get better resolution on those FOT character images? The one of Kaisa was only 8kb. I'm getting about double that size. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 02:22, December 28, 2012 (UTC)
Try C:\Program Files\14 Degrees East\Fallout Tactics. The game with the BOS.exe file should be in there. Give it another go. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 02:57, December 28, 2012 (UTC)
You can also rightmouse click on the Fallout Tactics desktop icon and select properties to discover the location of the gamefiles. I wouldn't know which ending I like. I'm playing it for the first time now and am just past the Macomb mission... Jspoel Speech Jspoel 18:23, December 28, 2012 (UTC)

( Great. You changed the screen resolution to max with Options in Tactics now right? Try to get that 3 to 4 ratio as good as possible and can you name the images FoT Betty ingame.png instead of Betty IG.png (etc.) like you do now? Jspoel Speech Jspoel 23:01, December 28, 2012 (UTC)

Tried it myself, registering and it's very easy. Got the confirmation email right away. Are you sure you entered the right email adress? I'm on it now as Jspoelstra. I would like to know those voice actors, we can try it on this forum, good idea. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 17:51, January 4, 2013 (UTC)

By all means, go ahead :) I noticed Chris Avellone himself has an admin account over there. Cool. You ask around, ok? I'd like to have those voice actors for the Tactics characters! Jspoel Speech Jspoel 23:08, January 4, 2013 (UTC)

ImagesEdit

Wow, 12,7 Mb. That's a lot you know for one image! Try to size it down just a bit. 12Mb is the max. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 23:17, January 6, 2013 (UTC)

How did you create the Osceolla underground image? It's such a large area. I can never get it that large. Do you have a large screen or is there a map in the gamefiles somewhere? Jspoel Speech Jspoel 23:28, January 6, 2013 (UTC)
I was guessing you were doing that. I'm thinking about doing the same with some Tactics images, I know takes a lot of time puzzling them together then. But the rewards are great! So I'm happy with those images. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 23:37, January 6, 2013 (UTC)
You don't have to size it down from 12 to 1,5 Mb. 5/6 Mb or so is also fine. I like large images you can zoom into detail is still get good quality. Especially with tiny characters etc. like in Tactics. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 23:44, January 6, 2013 (UTC)
It's marvellous. If you keep this up I'm probably going to be "forced" to give you a present in the near future! :) Jspoel Speech Jspoel 00:22, January 7, 2013 (UTC)

PresentEdit

Emerald Solo
You have been given your own Warrior.
Your efforts and diligence have not gone unnoticed, and you have been given a small token of appreciation.
For being a trooper on the Tactics pages! Jspoel Speech Jspoel 21:19, January 7, 2013 (UTC)

The Picture Edit

Hey, I did an image search of that picture you were asking about. Its some sort of generic Fallout wallpaper. Richie9999 (talk) 19:53, January 10, 2013 (UTC)

It is actually PV13 concept art released by Natiq Aghayev in 2006 well he was working with Interplay. It has been confused with an actual published game concept art so many times the image is imbedded with me. --The Old World Relics (talk/blog/contributions) 19:59, January 10, 2013 (UTC)
*Shrug* Most people don't even know PV13 is a thing, so it could be just as easy as them lacking the knowledge otherwise. And of course, there is always the question, where did the site get the source? Could just very well be another troll having fun with a starved Fallout community. --The Old World Relics (talk/blog/contributions) 01:09, January 11, 2013 (UTC)

F4Edit

Basically, its there to preserve search engine rankings and things like that... Agent c (talk) 01:06, January 11, 2013 (UTC)

It's about what Agent c says. It's a bit premature, but I have a gut feeling we need move forward with this now. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 01:10, January 11, 2013 (UTC)
I dunno. I think its real, I think the image came from someone else who added it later after some wires got crossed. But I'm not expecting much more in the short term... Zenimax are undoubtedly going to be focusing their marketing on TES:O until that launches, that leaves BGS doing... Something. If the actor wanted attention, he's filming a movie in New York he could be doing promotion for.... Agent c (talk) 01:14, January 11, 2013 (UTC)

In the article space, other than I've aded that Erik teased his followers on twitter about possible future involvement, the only stuff we've added today is a pair of pages that would start as lists of people... 3DOG is listed as unconfirmed on one, and Erik is listed as voice talent. The other stuff is all Wiki background stuff, or content thats been sitting there since goodness knows when. Agent c (talk) 01:21, January 11, 2013 (UTC)

TacticsEdit

Thanks. Working on these Tactics pages has been a breath of fresh air for me after two years just Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas (and some Van Buren). I needed the 'change of pace' and it has given me renewed inspiration an motivation. Now working on the special encounters with references to movies and other spoofs, that's a lot of fun and brings back great memories. They should put that back in a next game. Lot of work left; I'm thinking about adding complete maps of the locations (what you've done with some locations already) That's a major undertaking so if you can help that would be good... Jspoel Speech Jspoel 20:26, January 15, 2013 (UTC)

I see where it went wrong. You missed an edit on the 16th of January by 8 minutes. You made an edit 16th of January 00:52 Dutch time, then the next one 17th of January 04:02. You should have made an edit on the 16th of January, past 01:00 (0:00 Greenwich time), so 9 minutes past the 00:52. Badges work on the Greenwich time. Think where you live it's 16:00 o'clock (0:00 GT) when the daycount resets. You can check it by making an edit just before 16:00, check the your so many days in a row badge, go past 16:00 o'clock, then check again to see if the number has gone up one. So making an edit 15:30 and making the next one 17:00 the next day is fatal. Making one 16:30, waiting almost two days and making the next edit 15:00 is ok. 16:00 hours is key time for you. Don't feel too bad, others have seen worse. Gunny and Sigma were 270 days on their way when it reset to 0... Your Tactics bunker/location images are marvelous, try to get them as large as possible (5-10 Mb). If you break the wiki (>12 Mb) then resize it down a bit. Great stuff! Jspoel Speech Jspoel 20:28, January 17, 2013 (UTC)

Montana BoS Edit

It was originally I that added the information to that page. However, I never saw it the quote myself, I added it because of a previous conversation between Broccoli. and an admin, GarouxBloodline that I remembered. You sure there isn't any dialog you may have missed? Maybe something from Broken Steel or something? Paladin117>>iff bored; 03:09, January 19, 2013 (UTC)

Hey, haven't seen you in a while, and I know this conversation is a bit old, but I have recently acquired the GECK and was able to find Lyons' dialogue about the Montana BoS. The reason it was hard to find was because he doesn't say it in dialogue with you, he says it while talking with other Brotherhood members: "Brothers, as we take our meal this day, let us reflect upon the words of Elder Patrocolus of the Montana Bunker." Paladin117>>iff bored; 01:49, March 3, 2013 (UTC)

Graffiti Edit

Hey, can you tell me about graffiti edits? I was wondering if I could help with that. (CommanderNuka (talk) 19:05, February 10, 2013 (UTC))

Where is the relevant section? (CommanderNuka (talk) 23:15, February 10, 2013 (UTC))

Why isn't there graffiti for Fallout 3 add-ons? (CommanderNuka (talk) 23:58, February 10, 2013 (UTC))

Thanks! There was some graffiti in The Pitt that I thought I should add. Thanks for working on it. CommanderNuka VaultTecLogo 21:36, March 3, 2013 (UTC)

I did one edit on the Pitt Graffiti. Can you check it for me? CommanderNuka VaultTecLogo 00:48, March 4, 2013 (UTC)

Yes, I did the 100x100px. Thanks CommanderNuka VaultTecLogo 01:50, March 4, 2013 (UTC)

Tactics demoEdit

I don't know. Did you search Google for it? Or otherwise try your luck on the No Mutants Allowed site. And did you already get some response on the Fallout Tactics voice actors on the Interplay forum? Jspoel Speech Jspoel 23:35, March 11, 2013 (UTC)

Secret Vault Edit

I appreciate you being so thorough on Fallout lore, and what is canon or not. Unfortunately, I did have to revert your edit on the Vault article-page. Nukapedia covers everything that is Fallout-related, so long as that content has been created from the developers themselves. (Outside of mods, etc.) This includes semi-canon and non-canon information. If we didn't, we wouldn't be covering games like Fallout: Extreme, Brotherhood of Steel 2, Van Buren, etc. I hope that you understand, and I'll be looking forward to future edits from you. Happy editing! ForGaroux Some Assembly Required! 21:57, June 19, 2013 (UTC)

Hmm. You are correct in that a disclaimer should be noted, since nothing from BoS has been confirmed as canon (so far). However, that game was still made, and is related to Fallout, so I have to remain adamant over its inclusion within our article-pages. I'm sorry if this bothers you, and I have to admit that the BoS game is one of this wiki's weaker aspects. If you want to add those disclaimers, you have my blessing to do so. ForGaroux Some Assembly Required! 22:02, June 19, 2013 (UTC)
Oh, no, you're not bugging me at all. I've seen your work, and I understand the grievances. Yes, you are correct that BoS is completely non-canon for now. And you are absolutely correct that any information from BoS should be followed by the Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel non-canon label that we use here. Like I said, you have my blessing to add those labels should you wish to do so. If you want an example of the label template that we use, you can find them on most of our BoS article-pages. Give me a moment to finish something up, and I can find you an example if you're unable to one. ForGaroux Some Assembly Required! 22:17, June 19, 2013 (UTC)

Images Edit

Hey Styles. Those images you have uploaded. They're really cool and I didn't know the museum had that in them (guess I never looked up). There is just one, small, problem - you can see the cursor in the middle of them. While it is pretty minor and barely noticeable, it is, sadly, against our image policy. I really do like the images, however, so I would prefer if we could somehow upload new versions without the cursor. I can try to help, if you like, but not now because of the late hour. Thanks, Paladin117>>iff bored; 05:09, June 20, 2013 (UTC)

If you're not able to get rid of the cursor, just let me know, and I'll get rid of them for you. ForGaroux Some Assembly Required! 05:20, June 20, 2013 (UTC)

Sunset SarsaparillaEdit

Not sure, though it is somewhat explained in the notes. Could be that it first was a small family recipe, not for mass sale from 1918 to 2050, and only when Nuka-Cola became popular, SS also became a corporately sold beverage. But the story could also be made up Festus, as it is the Legend of the Star. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 00:38, October 22, 2013 (UTC)

That's what I think too. By the way, did you already see our new FoT maps? They're of in-game quality! Masterpieces, and nowhere else of this quality to be found on the internet. Kryon78 created most of them. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 00:58, October 22, 2013 (UTC)
I have become a bit attached to Tactics and are spending quite a bit of time getting the quotes up there. Why can't you get the demo running? Just install and play it, isn't it? Jspoel Speech Jspoel 01:07, October 22, 2013 (UTC)

Emil quoteEdit

Hi Styles, yes it has been a while, I've been flat off my feet sadly...

If you're thinking of the same quote I am, welcome to my nightmare. We have a lot of information who's only source is Ausir emailing developers. No copy of the email exists anymore (a similar issue on the vault ended up with a response from Ausir saying I don't have it, and you should just take my word for it. Not exactly academic standard I know.

I'm starting a referencing comittee to improve the referencing standards and rewrite the policy, but those Ausir-Facts are going to be our biggest problem - they're to important to wholesale delete, but to unverifiable to keep.

If you wanna help out, or if you have a suggestion, please drop me a line, as that conundrum stumps me. Agent c (talk) 10:13, April 24, 2014 (UTC)
