Cell namesEdit

Thanks for adding those cell names and ids to locations. I was hoping someone would do that. I hope you can get all the missing ones. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 00:45, December 16, 2015 (UTC)

Hello Jpoelstra, was always my first choice to get information about the game (e.g. FO3, FONV). Really love this helpful site. Now i want to give something back. --Generaldynamo (talk) 00:54, December 16, 2015 (UTC)

You have been given a Diamond City.
Your efforts and diligence have not gone unnoticed, and you have been given a small token of appreciation.
For all your hard work on the location pages! Jspoel Speech Jspoel 13:07, December 21, 2015 (UTC)
Thank you. I have a problem with the Ref-IDs of the exterior locations that i'm editing and i don't want to contribute mistakes into this wiki. So for example in Quincy ruins the Ref-ID is marked as 0005a5dd. It's the ID from locations in FO4Edit. Does it mean that there's only one Ref-ID for multiple location names or do they all have an ID, in this case 0000e285, 0000e2a5, 0000e2a4, 0000e2c4, 0000e2c3, 0000e2e3 and 0000e2e2, the IDs from worldspace in FO4Edit. Do you know how it is done correctly? --Generaldynamo (talk) 13:31, December 21, 2015 (UTC)
NO, a RefID is by definition unique to an object. If I type 'help "Quincy Ruins" 4' in the in-game console I get "LCTN: (0005A5DD) 'Quincy Ruins'", meaning 0005A5DD is in fact the base id of Quincy Ruins, not the RefID. - FDekker talk 13:39, December 21, 2015 (UTC)
Thank you for the quick response. I feel relieved and will go on as before. . --Generaldynamo (talk) 13:45, December 21, 2015 (UTC)
You can continue as you do now, with these multiple refids. Although I'm not sure these location IDs are refids or baseids, because you're using data from the Form ID column, which describes the baseid as well as the refid. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 14:58, December 21, 2015 (UTC)
Hope they are refs. If not, they'll be changed at least when the GECK is released. Nevertheless the cell names are correct. --Generaldynamo (talk) 15:08, December 21, 2015 (UTC)
