Sad face... Ausir? do you know where AshRandom went? Britton 3:23, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

DAMN! who's taking over or something now? i was gunna be helping with holotape scripts but now i cant seem find enough heart to do it Mr snip 09:24, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

I'm sorry guys, I know we had a lot planned, but my feelings got in the way. I don't even know what to say exactly, it didn't start out as a big deal. I blocked some jerk (PlasmaFox) who was harassing me about my gender on my own page! Then Ausir decided to unblock him. So I quit. I don't appreciate it when friends take sides against me, that hurts my feelings. It really does Ausir, it hurts! As your Sysop you owed it to me to at least contact me first, and as your friend you owed me the benefit of the doubt. You didn't spare either, so obviously you've never respected me, and clearly we were never actually friends. Ash Nuke.jpg AshRandom (Talk) 11:30, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
All because of that punk?!? That's a pitty. But in my opinion you should not allow guys like him to ruin this game for you. Fallout 3 is THE game and this Wiki is great because of guys like you!
I share ur pain :,( I totally understand what u mean (not thru web, but thru life in general). I hope everything will turn o'right :,) Respect! --Youtube1smaller.jpeg CryonBrion (Talk) 11:50, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
And what i discovered from block-page, i see Ausir blocked this PlasmaFox 2 hours after he unblocked him. I believe the whole thing was just a simple misunderstanding. --Youtube1smaller.jpeg CryonBrion (Talk) 11:59, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
And his IP was blocked for the whole time too, anyway. I'm sorry if you feel hurt by my actions, Ash, but I believe you are blowing the whole situation out of proportion. Ausir 13:02, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
I can't trust you to back me up, and you quite obviously won't trust my judgment. I'm sick of all the anon users screwing up every last page, and you have no intention of ever making this site registered users only. Why? Because anons fix spelling errors? Maybe so but they don't add content, they just screw up our page formatting with no accountability. Why can't we just keep anons to discussion and forum posts? Bah. So what am I supposed to do, continue rolling back more pages than I actually write? Now on top of all the anon vandals there's a fucking troll with a grudge out there with revolving proxy IPs and I'm sure he's just going to keep harassing me forever. It's not fun anymore Pawel, and it's not going to change is it? Ash Nuke.jpg AshRandom (Talk) 17:08, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
Anonymous users have far more valuable edits than vandalism, and there are also many registered vandals as well. And they definitely do add content, as well as fix many errors. I also often edit small things on wikis where I have no intention of registering, and wouldn't do it if I were forced to. Sorry, but no, I'm definitely not going to make this site registered users only. And it's not only my own opinion, but also Wikia's general policy. Ausir 17:17, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

like i figured, now can you please delete this account now?

Nope, I can't. Neither sysops nor bureaucrats can actually delete accounts. But you can keep your user page deleted, of course. Ausir 17:28, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
Just to point out my opinion on this discussion With all respect, i agree with her. This site should be protected better against random users, who can vandalize anything in here. Yes, it all can be undone, but still its too easy to change almost everything, and it always causes extra trouble for those who cares. I can imagine some fucked-up teenagers whose intentions are only to harass and bring chaos upon this wikia, only because someone said something wrong or something stupid. That person probably only enjoys those possibilities in his/her hands. Just delete all, change IP, delete all, change IP...etc... Its not that i think im in the position to criticize all this, but i wish that some day only authorirized users could edit this wikia. Other users could leave wishes/report a problem about something, but only registered users could actually make a difference. That would be very nice. Im not trying to attack against anybody with this opinion, just making a point. --Youtube1smaller.jpeg CryonBrion (Talk) 17:38, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

I agree too! Britton 11:44, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

May i just ask, who doesn't agree with me? Tell me one good reason why not agree with me, please. I've been editing this wikia only for some weeks now (im very noob in here) and im already frustrated with some issues. Believe me, i really want to help this community, but sometimes it feels like... well, just difficult. Just trying to make a difference on something we all seem to share... The love for this game =) Youtube1smaller.jpeg CryonBrion (Talk) 17:59, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

I guess they are both right in their own way (Ausir and Ash). I understand Ash perfectly and, in a way, I wish the editing was possible only for registered users, but I know that are far more anonymous contributions than acts of vandalism and this wiki would be smaller without their contributions. I hope Ash would change her mind and come back, maybe take a couple of days off. Ash, you put in lot of hard work and it would be a pity to quit now. And CryonBrion... creating and helping is allways difficult. Cheers everybody! GobTheGoul 19:05, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

Wanna know what i think?I think that ash's decision to leave because os what happened was....................PATHETIC!Honest to god,so one friend might of seemingly took a side against you?Big deal, its something you have to get used to in this life, but i can see ash didnt, also, ash is a woman?seriously,damn.................. Werewolfhell 20:55, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Out of proportion and anon woes

Seriously Ash, you blew a simple misunderstanding/troll WAY out of proportion. Hardly the mature thing to do, don't you agree?

Furthermore, I believe that your demand to lock down the Wiki and allow only registered users to edit is nonsensical. Not everyone wants to make an account to edit a spelling mistake, create a redlink page or upload a missing image. If we limited our editor base, we'd be stalling growth of our Wiki.

Next, PlasmaFox. While he did push the question a bit, you went too far with blocking him. That's a clear abuse of your administrating powers, as rather than blocking him for a legitimate reason (such as spamming, inserting false information or actual harrassment), you blocked him because you felt his question was inappropriate. Really, since you were a side in this case, you should've asked another admin to evaluate the situation and block, if a block was needed.

However, since you did not do that and have failed to conclusively prove that he is the one vandalizing your page, I believe he should be unblocked, until evidence can be provided that can substantiate your claims. Or a legitimate blocking reason is found. Because, quite frankly, the following doesn't even warrant a warning:

Are you a guy, or a girl? I'm confused, as I've seen both genders named Ashley, but even your writing patterns are ambiguous (though slightly feminine). PlasmaFox 03:20, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
*I'm preparing myself to laugh.BSMaker 03:28, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
Thanks, now he/she/it won't answer because they're afraid you'll laugh at him. :( PlasmaFox 03:28, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
Inappropriate question. [AshRandom]
Inappropriate how? All I asked is if you were a guy or a girl. PlasmaFox 03:43, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
You're embarrassed you're a dude named Ashley, aren't you? Did you know that Ashley was actually a guy's name first, -then- it became a female name? Nothing to be scared of, dude. PlasmaFox 03:53, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
AshRandom bans PlasmaFox

Shaur M. S. Grizlin 20:20, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

That actually sounds like harassment. I don't see why you would even argue in favor of PlasmaFox. Your evidence alone proves he should be banned.
Thankfully, you're not an administrator. Objectively, he was curious and made a single snide comment. Hardly a reason to block someone. Shaur M. S. Grizlin 21:38, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
I want Ash back :'( such a legend.Hazadragon 21:51, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
Thankfully I'm not an administrator? No thank you that you are not. Standing up for blatant harassment questions your own sense of morals/credibility. It sounds like you have no backbone to punish those who are in the wrong. If you don't think a permy ban would be necessary, then a smaller less harsher one would suffice, but to deny that he was wrong shows that you are either in denial about it or that you have no managerial skills to see what is happening and will happen. Like you said, "Thankfully, you're not an administrator."

Oh shut the fuck up with your whining already. Ash shouldn't have any kind of admin powers if he's going to ban someone over a harmless comment. Anon edits are way more beneficial to the site than not. In fact, most of the garbage Ausir has had to delete in the last few months has been from registered users (why the fuck are you idiots posting your fan fiction on the wikia?) Killzig 21:54, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

Jesus Christ, people. This is all a huge misunderstanding. I didn't have any malicious intent, most of that I said was just in a joking manner. All I wanted to know is if they were male or female, if Ash didn't want to answer she could have said "I don't want to answer" rather than just delete the question and then ban me later. While what I did might have been a little inappropriate, a ban is completely over the top and a melodramatic overreaction to a simple query portrayed in a jovial fashion. PlasmaFox 22:11, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

How about we all do ourselves a favor and drop this. Plasma, best to keep conversation neutral as possible to avoid any misunderstandings. Ash, grow thicker skin. The rest of you drama queens mind your own business. Killzig

Thanks for your decisions, Killzig. Ausir did want me to personally explain myself on the talk page, though. PlasmaFox 22:17, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

No offense but Killzig who are you, and why are you telling everyone to mind their own business? I'm pretty sure that your not involved either... and anyways if the Admins didnt want us to debate about this they would tell us to stop discussing it... its an open debate... Britton 3:02, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

No offense (moron) but I am an admin and I'm telling you to drop it. Killzig

An Admin of what? Here? I hardly believe that because with an attitude that you have been expressing, you would have been stripped of those powers already for your postings. You are no one special and you are not better than anyone, so why don't you take your own advice and leave so we don't have to read your insults to other memebers
Actually, Killzig is an administrator (albeit not a very active one nowadays). See: The Vault:Administrators. Ausir 23:02, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
I stand corrected, but do you believe as an admin that he is talking to members correctly? I think it is highly inappropriate that an admin would write things such as "Oh shut the fuck up with your whining already".
Yes, it is inappropriate. As I said, everyone should cut the name-calling. Ausir 00:07, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

You cant tell me to drop something just cause i dont agree with you... and if you were to use your power to have me blocked then that would also be a gross overuse of your power, which you were just saying is wrong, so i wouldnt do that if I were you, because that would make you a hypocrite, and I havent done anything to be blocked, and you are boldly insulting everyone who thinks differently than you. I still stand with the idea that you need to be registered to use this site, and I have nothing against PlasmaFox, I just dont agree with what he said at that moment (I think you screwed yourself when you said he/she/it) and anyways, registering took me about a minute to do, so it wouldnt ruin anyones day to make it registered only. Britton 14:16, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

Well, if you want to discuss about the anons make a forum post about it. Personally, I find it sad Ash's gone but mutual name-calling is hardly going to benefit anyone. // Porter21 U | T 20:46, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

Indeed, let's all drop the name-calling, and if you want to discuss the issue of whether anonymous edits are benefitial or detrimental to the site, let's do it in a place more fitting it than this page. Ausir 20:50, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

Just ignore the drama, you're a decent user and that's all that matters. This is all pointless, get back to editing. --Nux Matrix 22:20, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Yeah... Best to let it drop. Although, I will say, PlasmaFox, if that quote "Thanks, now he/she/it won't answer because they're afraid you'll laugh at him" is verbatim, that's some awful grammer. Ash will be missed (especially since I'm left with all that DPS junk)Fiddlesoup 08:04, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

1. i'd like to say again i'll miss you ash 2. who is the 'main' user who's gunna do a lot of the pages and such and im not trying to be annoying 3. i'll say this bluntly whoever started all of this crap. look what it's lead to...more crap so that wasnt really that good of a statement but i'm trying to put my point peacefully Mr snip 09:12, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

i hear you are making a fallout 3 mod on frank horrigan, do explain

New policy on inactive admins

This is a friendly notice to inform you of a recent policy change here at Nukapedia. We have enacted a policy concerning all inactive admins/mods/chat mods who have not edited here in over 9 months. As your most recent edit was on January 31,2009, you are one of the those who fits that criteria. We felt it important to get in touch with you to give you the opportunity to again become an active contributing editor and member of the Nukapedia community, whilst retaining your user rights. Please respond on my talk page, otherwise, if we do not hear back from you by October 16th, as well as see an increased presence on the wiki, your extra user rights will be removed. You will have the opportunity to respond to a bureaucrat to request them back at any point after becoming edit active for at least one month and show an active desire to make continued contributions again on Nukapedia. Thank you for your time.--Kingclyde (talk) 05:47, October 3, 2012 (UTC)
