Happy Easter and April Fools Day

Happy Easter everybody and April Fools day and now for some trivia. The last Easter was on April first was 1956, and since 1900 Easter has been on April Fools day four times 1923, 1934, 1945, and 1956 the next time this will happen will be in 2029. Hope you are all having a wonder full day.

Shaken Not Stirred

Whether or not you're a fan of the James Bond series, I have no doubt most people will recognize thies words as the iconic lines of James Bond. Funny enough Roger Moore never said this line while playing the iconic spy this leads into the topic of the blog. 2017 has claimed another star Roger Moore dies today May 23rd 2017 at the age of 89 after a battling Cancer. We will remember you for great movies made and beautiful humor you brought to the character of Bond.

  • 1933 President Franklin Roosevelt signs the Tennessee Valley Authority Act.
  • 1951 The United Nations moves its headquarters to New York city.
  • 1974 India becomes the sixth nation to explode an atomic bomb.
  • Even though this happened on May 12th it's still something cool. On May 12th of 2016

Hello welcome to Fun Fact of the Day this is something I want to try every week giving out little tidbits and facts. Any ways on this day in history in 1607 Colonists land at Cape Henry, Va., They would found Jamestown the next month, in 1865 John Wilkes Booth, Lincoln’s assassin, was surrounded by federal troops in a barn in Virginia. He was shot and killed by one of the soldiers that had snuck around back and shot him. He was then paralyzed and later bleed to death (a fitting end if you ask me), in 1937 The German Luftwaffe (air force) destroyed the Spanish town of Guernica, and finally in 1986 The worst nuclear power plant accident in history occurred at Chernobyl, near Kiev, U.S.S.R.
