Finished FO1 and FO2 again! Now onto Fallout: New Vegas! :)
Right now I'm intensively playing New Vegas, already riled up about 60 hours of playtime. I refuse from editing or even clicking New Vegas related articles until I have finished everything, because I hate spoilers. Yeah, that much.
The first two installments of Fallout are still the best in my opinion, played through both countless times. Fallout 3 is a very good game too, but lacks substance compared to the first two titles. It tries to compensate this flaw with style, and succeeds when played with this in mind.
Still, I played Fallout 3 and all of its add-ons extensively, with over +120h playtime on my save game. Needless to say, I've seen nearly every bit of the capital wasteland and loved every second of it.
Personally, I'd like to see another open-world, 2D top-down installment of Fallout.. true in the veins of the classic canon and "free choice"-philosophy AND with some of the nice combat (and only combat) improvements from Fallout Tactics. I got the strange feeling this might never happen, though.
