Leon: Tell us a little bit about yourself
TPA: Well, my name is Daniel and I live in the grand ol' state of California. I'm an avid gamer on both my 360 and my PC, recently just acquired a PS3 for the sole purpose of playing their exclusive titles.
Leon: How did you first discover Wikia and which wikis do you spend the most time on?
TPA: I discovered this Wikia when it was The Vault back in late 2009. It all happened when I first started playing Fallout 3 and I needed some help on a couple of quests and I soon became an editor on here. I spend the majority of my time here on this Wikia, but I will drop in on some other ones to read articles and blogs.
Leon: How has this wiki inspired you and what influences have kept you here at Nukapedia as a productive member of the community?
TPA: This wiki inspired me to continuously edit on here because I felt like I was apart of something big. I was/am influenced by the huge community following that we have here. Unfortunately, this is a down time in the Fallout community, so I'm assuming our traffic has slowed down some. I can say that I am not as productive as I wish I can be because my non-virtual life is very demanding right now.
Leon: What would you consider your greatest accomplishment(s) here at Nukapedia?
TPA: I'll be a little selfish here and say that my greatest accomplishment was becoming an admin here. I had a lot of determination to make great edits and try to improve many pages. I was literally glued to my computer chair (obviously I wasn't literally glued, that would hurt) and consistently on here when I first began, and that led me to get to know the whole community very quickly and build relationships.
Leon: Continuing from the previous question, what is your drive? What has motivated you to make Nukapedia a better wiki? How did this drive help you become an Administrator here?
TPA: Well, like I previously stated, my motivation when I joined here a few years ago was to make pages better and to help my fellow Fallout players. I have the motivation to keep coming back, but unfortunately in small doses, because I love the community here. It sucks that I have fell out of touch with the community because of my real life, so it is kind of like baby steps all over for me again, which is a disadvantage.
Leon: What would your top 5 tips for new editors on this wiki be?
TPA: Hmm, my top 5 tips would be: 1. Be a good editor (pretty vague but I hope you understand). 2. Be friendly and talk with the community, they are great! 3. This falls in line with getting to know the community, but you should know who the admins are and try to figure out what their time schedules for any type of assistance. 4. ??? 5. Profit! from this great community and try to become a passionate editor here. Building relationships is key in this world, and what better place to start than here?
Leon: What would you like to see that isn't on this wiki already?
TPA: Hmm, that's a tough question. I think that right now, the wiki is fine. For nostalgia's sake, I wouldn't mind seeing some old friends become active again.
Leon: Thank you for your time, TPA.
TPA: No Leon, thank you! For a good laugh, I advise everyone to click here!
