Detailed walkthrough[]
When entering the penthouse of the Lucky 38, during The House Always Wins I, the player character will encounter a Securitron just outside the elevator doors, Jane (it will be the only one with a caricature of a woman on the TV screen). Along with general information about the Strip, Mr. House, and the surrounding area of New Vegas, one can also ask Jane about snow globes. Jane will reveal that collecting snow globes is a hobby of Mr. House and that she will pay a significant sum of caps if the Courier can find and bring more collectibles to add to it.
When delivering snow globes to Jane, she will reward 2,000 caps per snow globe turned in, i.e. giving her 2 globes at once will net 4,000 caps, and so on. There are a total of 7 snow globes to be found around the Mojave Wasteland that can be brought to Jane, thus the maximum amount of caps gained via this quest is 14,000. The four add-ons each have a snow globe of their own to collect and automatically pay the 2,000 caps (2,000 Sierra Madre chips in the case of Dead Money) when collected, but they are not considered a part of this quest. Turning in snow globes (including those from the add-ons) to Jane will cause them to reappear as static world objects on a unique display case within the Lucky 38 presidential suite; this location is acquired as player character housing after first speaking with Mr. House during the main quest.

Notes[]
- After the player character has returned seven snow globes from the Mojave Wasteland, the snow globe stand will "sparkle" for a moment.[verification needed]
- If Mr. House is killed (either independently or as part of a non-House faction quest), Jane will disappear from the penthouse and it will no longer be possible to remove the snow globes from the inventory. However, PC users can use the console command player.placeatme 00116a50 to spawn Jane to their location to continue adding snow globes to the stand. Should Jane still be aggressive after spawning, use the console command stopcombat after having talked to her to stop all combat.
