The Unity of Broken Hills is a faction in the Core Region of 2241, and should not be confused with the Master's Unity of the first Fallout.

Background

The community of Broken Hills consists of ghouls, super mutants and humans living in resonable harmony and as one body: this is where the name of their community comes from, not an affiliation to the Master as the name may suggest. It is possible, however, that Marcus subcontiously made this link to the Master, and thus the community also being referred to as the Unity.

Although certain groups occasionally have disputes, they are not of great enough magnitude to dissolve the Unity. The group cohesion is apparent, and this is made more so because of the fact that they have appointed a super mutant as their leader, even though all groups are of roughly similar number. The Unity seems to lack the prejudice of those outside the community, too.
