The Tygart Valley River is an unmarked river in West Virginia.

Background[]

The Tygart Valley River originates from a cave in the Allegheny Mountains just east of Cobbleton farm. It flows southeast through the Toxic Valley, stopping at Grafton Lake and the Grafton Dam. It then joins another river as it heads south.

The town of Grafton was founded on the Tygart Valley River, establishing the town's status as a shipping hub prior to the Great War.[1][2]

Behind the scenes[]

The Tygart Valley River is based on the real-world river of the same name.
