The tribal raiding armor is a set of armor in Fallout: New Vegas.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Pieced together from scraps of armor, this outfit provides protection without impacting mobility. It uses the same model of the raider blastmaster armor from Fallout 3 and from Fallout: New Vegas. It is a single-sleeved suit of armor with a piece of a tractor tire over the shoulder for protection (for males). It can be repaired with other suits of raider armor, including sadist, badlands, and blastmaster armor.

Variant[edit | edit source]

Comparison[edit | edit source]

Name DT WG Durability Value Armor class Effects
Raider armor 4 15 100 180 Light armor None
Tribal raiding armor 4 15 100 180 Light armor None

Location[edit | edit source]

Originally, the only way to acquire this armor was by redeeming the code that came with the pre-order exclusive Tribal Pack. It can now also be acquired by purchasing the add-on Courier's Stash.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • The armor lacks the defense of even leather armor (in fact, it has the lowest DT of the armors added by the pre-order bonuses). However, its high durability, the fact that it is free and immediately available, and ease of maintenance make it quite useful early on before better equipment becomes available.
  • Curiously, the right glove of the armor is not visible on the character of the Tribal Pack advertisement picture.
