A trash bin is a storage container in Fallout 3.

Random junk is usually found inside of these containers, or even nothing at all. Largely, dumpsters are just an added aesthetic in the post-apocalypse and don't often provide anything useful, besides being safe containers in the open. On infrequent occasions, one might find caps, ammunition, or pre-War money.

- Two at Evergreen Mills, near the foundry entrance.

- Four outside Meresti trainyard, two more near the subway cars.

- Two at Rockbreaker's Last Gas.

Notes[]
- A clean green one can be seen at the Talon Company camp.
- If the player character completes a Speech check on Bryan Wilks (or has the Child at Heart perk), they will receive the key to a special dumpster located behind the diner in Grayditch. It contains some weapons and ammunition.
