Train ride

Train ride is a paper note in Fallout 76, introduced in the Burning Springs update.

Location[]

The note can be found at Burning Springs tunnel mountain trail, located at the end of the railway on the northeastern edge of the Burning Springs region.

Transcript[]

This place stinks. Josh got into a fight at the party the other night. Some guy bumped into him and it got worse from there... I had to help him and now everyone hates us for ruining it.

Not only that, but deadlines are coming up for our assignments and I haven't even started mine. We're done with Athens: Caitlin, Josh, and I are gonna hitch a ride on the next train outta town.

We were in the diner and overheard one of the workers talking about a train leaving from Athens at around lunchtime. We've been talking about getting out of here for a while now; it sounds like this could be our chance.

We don't really have a place in mind, and we don't really know where the train is going, so we're just gonna hop on and see where it takes us.

Josh seems to think it could lead us to Cleveland, or even Pittsburgh. Wherever we end up, I know for sure it's gonna be better than this hellhole.
