Tools are worth a lot of money if sold to the right people, and they are quite common. Valerie can be given a set of tools and a wrench in exchange for a super tool kit one day later.

- One in a locker on level 3 in Vault 8.
- One on a workbench in Skeeter's workshop in Gecko.
- The Professor in Broken Hills has one in his inventory.
- One on a toolboard in a back room in New Reno Arms.
- One in an ice chest in the Railway Station's brewery.
- Hoss in NCR Downtown carries this.
- Navarro Main Base, behind Raul in the workbench.
- One in a locker, on Sierra Army Depot's level one.
- One in a desk, on Sierra Army Depot's level two.
